The Anatomy and Physiology course will provide a detailed study of the structures of the human body. Course content will include the major functional systems (nervous, digestive, circulatory, etc.) as well as concentration on function, location, and physiology. The physiology of the regulation and control of bodily functions will be of major importance. Preserved, latex injected lab specimens of cats will be used for dissections. This course is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in the medical profession and/or to prepare students for the rigor of future college anatomy and physiology course work.
