The first step for registering for dual credit is to apply to BSC. Students need to do this every year, even if they have done dual credit last year. There will be a one-time fee. Once accepted, students will receive a user ID from BSC and then they can proceed to registering for courses. This link is for applying to BSC: https://bismarckstate.edu/admissions/howtoapply/highschool/
-
Prior to enrolling in any dual credit course, students must apply to BSC - this needs to be done each year. It is recommended for Bismarck students to apply through the PowerSchool app to autofill fields and automatically submit transcripts, and that link is posted above. Once accepted, you will claim a user ID and the next step will be to register for courses. This link will bring you to that step.

All but the last problem are good ones to use for review. This test is FRQ only and will be on _____.
-
Directions: Questions 1 through 6 start with multiple choice and should require 1 each minute to answer. FRQ questions 1-3 are short constructed-response questions that should require about 7 minutes each to answer. Question 4 is a long constructed-response question that should require about 10 minutes each to answer. Read each question carefully and write your response in the space provided following each question. Your responses to these questions will be scored on the basis of the accuracy and relevance of the information cited. Explanations should be clear and well organized. Specific answers are preferable to broad, diffuse responses. For calculations, clearly show the method used and the steps involved in arriving at your answers. It is to your advantage to do this, since you may obtain partial credit if you do and you will receive little or no credit if you do not. Be sure to write all your answers to the question on the lined pages following the question set.

This one is mandatory for all. Send me a screenshot of your final screen when completed to receive credit.
Practice questions that assess your recall of the TSNF document. Graded online.
-
Mandatory read - 12 pages! We haven't done all of these techniques in AP chem (general chemistry does them) but I have seen all of these on AP chemistry exams.
-
This document lists all the AP standards and a video link for Krug's videos for each individual topic. Below numbers for each topic is how it corresponds with our specific unit, chapter, and section as we covered it.
-
This contains AP Classroom links to each individual AP standard that includes a video link and a couple of practice questions for each standard. The first and last page of this document contains Krug's "10 Minute Review" of the entire topic.

This is the packet that BHS uses. It also contains FRQs for each unit.
-
A more comprehensive version of Write this, not that. 160 slides with FRQs for each unit and the answers.
-
16 pages from BHS. MC questions - 150 total. Final 28 have answers bolded; others you will need access to the answer key.
-
50 pages of MC questions, arranged by topic

This survey is 100% anonymous and is purely used for my own purposes to help drive improvement for both the course and myself. This course was delivered with the primary goal of getting all students to a passing score or higher on the AP exam while still fostering an interest in the field of chemistry. As you answer the questions, keep in mind the context of the recent AP chemistry exam and how it went for you, along with your experience in the class throughout the entire year. Please feel free to share what you thought went well and what needs work. It will help me immensely.
-
All dual credit students must complete this final common assessment for evaluation.
