RE: Testing Window for the 2011-12 North Dakota State Assessment

The testing window for the 2011-12 North Dakota State Assessment is October 24 through November 11, 2011. (View the DPI Calendar of Events at the following address: http://www.dpi.state.nd.us/events.shtm.)

The following content areas and grade levels will be assessed:
• Reading/language arts for grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11
• Mathematics for grades 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11
• Science for grades 4, 8, 11

Each school district is responsible for establishing the testing and make-up schedule within the testing window, including number of days devoted to test administration, days of the week and time of day for administration, and number of parts tested each day.
