Self-Paced Practice
North Dakota Civics Course
Self-paced learning modules help you prepare to complete the Civics Exam in smaller units of learning.
The ND Civics Test House Bill 1087 is simple in concept. It requires high school students, as a condition for graduation, to pass a test on 100 basic facts of U.S. history and civics, from the United States Citizenship Civics Test – the test all new US citizens must pass.
The 100 questions of the United States Citizenship Civics Exam have been restructured into 14 smaller exams. The House Bill allows you to take the test in whole or in part after enrolling in grade seven and may repeat the test, or any portion thereof, as often as necessary to demonstrate proficiency (70%). So this self-paced module is designed for you to pick and choose which units you feel that you can practice and learn the content to pass that specific exam.
