Standard 5:

Demonstrate the ability to use decision-making skills to enhance health and avoid or reduce health risks.

K-2 Grade Band

  • HTL-K2.s5.01: Identify situations when a health-related decision is needed.
  • HTL-K2.s5.02: Differentiate between situations when a health-related decision can be made individually or when assistance is needed.

3-5 Grade Band

  • HTL-EL.s5.01: Identify health-related situations that might require a thoughtful decision.
  • HTL-EL.s5.02: Analyze when assistance is needed when making a health-related decision.
