Google Classroom Questions
 |
Summary:
A single question, usually open-ended, posted on Google Classroom (Moodle can do this too).  This is used as a quick check for understanding, possibly to see if material covered during a previous lesson was understood.  Students can respond to the question, and the teacher can use the responses to facilitate a class discussion.

The teacher and the students will engage with the question and the responses in a discussion as a class or in small groups.

 Data Analysis:
This type of assessment is normally used to indicate if the class is ready to move on with the class or if there may be a need for re-teaching a topic/concept.

|
 Opportunities for Student Metacognition:
The students will immediately know if they understood the material or not, and can use this as an opportunity to ask for help from the teacher and their peers.
 |
|
 Technology Integration:
The results are compiled automatically for the teacher and students to view, but grades are not generated.
