Learning objectives, case studies & resources for: Hormones
In this unit, students will be able to:
1) Name the secreting structure of a hormone (part of the brain, etc).
2) Identify (full name as well as abbreviation) which hormone is being referred to by the description of its primary function.
3) Provide the primary function for a hormone when provided its name.
4) Identify both the cause (hyper or hypo secretion of a specific hormone) and symptoms of multiple hormone disorders.
5) Indirectly identify the controls and/or regulators responsible for the release and/or lack of release of a hormone.
