Standard 4: Fitness Concepts
Students understand and apply fitness concepts to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical fitness.

PED-06.4.03 Identify physical activities (e.g., swimming, jogging for cardio respiratory fitness) for the development and maintenance of each component of health-related fitness.

Student Learning Targets:

Knowledge Targets
  • I can identify three components of health related physical fitness (cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, body composition).
  • I can identify three (3) or more activities to improve fitness component areas. (Physical Fitness)
  • I can explain three (3) or more reasons why physical fitness is important to me. (Physical Fitness)
  • I can identify three (3) or more activities to participate in for various settings and environments. (Physical Fitness)
