Use the conversion factors printed on the back page of this worksheet to arrive at the correct answer. Be sure to round your answers to the correct number of significant figures, or the problem will be marked wrong! Some problems require as few as two steps; others will require up to 8 steps. (And no, you will NOT need to know these conversions on the test. This is just an exercise to get used to the "feel" of how we approach conversions using a dimensional analysis technique)

This is the lab sheet that provides the scenario and the information to complete the lab.
To complete this lab, you need to fill out the form that is below the video.
For writeup, I would like EACH student to:
1) fully describe your procedure so that ANYONE can follow it and get the same results
2) list your unknown # and identify the powders in them - remember that the first two vials had 2 powders and the 3rd vial (labeled S2) had 3 powders in it. I need to know the vial number with your answer in order to grade it!
3) Provide a conclusion that defends your conclusions. Tell me, as if you were on a witness stand, how you arrived at your conclusion based off of your observations. I want to see why you are certain that vial #23 contained powder A and powder C (for example).
