      Pre-Lab Directions: Read and annotate pgs. 1-3 using the following conditions

      • Pages 1-3: Read all background information and purpose sections and parts of the procedure.
        • HIGHLIGHT/UNDERLINE any 1) main ideas related to the four macromolecules discussed in class, 2) the organic molecule being tested in the procedure and 3) what solutions/chemicals will be needed for each part
        • CIRCLE the amounts or measurements needed for each solution
        • BOX the color change you should be observing in a positive test
      • Then, COMPLETE all pre-lab questions and tables on page 2

      Page 4 will be completed in-class when we do the lab
