Make a copy of the Lab Safety Contract (linked here), type your full name at the bottom, and submit by the end of your class period on Tuesday, September 1st
*You cannot complete in-person labs in Biology without signing the Lab Safety Contract!

Pre-Lab Directions: Read and annotate pgs. 1-3 using the following conditions
- Pages 1-3: Read all background information and purpose sections and parts of the procedure.
- HIGHLIGHT/UNDERLINE any 1) main ideas related to the four macromolecules discussed in class, 2)Â the organic molecule being tested in the procedure and 3) what solutions/chemicals will be needed for each part
- CIRCLE the amounts or measurements needed for each solution
- BOX the color change you should be observing in a positive test
- Then, COMPLETE all pre-lab questions and tables on page 2
Page 4 will be completed in-class when we do the lab
- Pages 1-3: Read all background information and purpose sections and parts of the procedure.

At the end of your class period on Friday, September 18, submit what you have completed so far on your project. Your final product will be due on Tuesday by the end of your class period.
