3rd Grade (ELA) Targeted Standard     (Wr) Writing  (LU) Language Usage Learners will integrate appropriate language and style to ensure effective readability in writing.

• (b.) Use periods with declarative and imperative sentences, question marks with interrogative sentences and exclamation points with exclamatory sentences.
• (c.) Use commas before coordinating conjunctions and to separate individual words in a series.
